Christian Young of Viewmont (Utah) High School took an inside hand-off during a recent game against Bonneville. As Young cuts upfield a Bonneville defender manages to grab the Viewmont runner by his facemask, completely turning his helmet around. Despite being totally blind Young continues running forward, and actually gains 3-yards or so before getting totally leveled, which is bound to happen when you’re playing football with your helmet on backwards.
I imagine this is what the majority of plays the Jets/Raiders/Jaguars run this year will look like, only much, much worse.
